Development Forum

Everyone is welcome to attend Development Forum meetings – in fact I would be delighted to see you. The Forum is about raising funds to improve the centre – beyond the normal maintenance costs, without the fund we wouldn’t have achieved the improvements we have made over the past few years.

funds raised

Some of the funded projects have included:

  • The entrance ramp (£1800)
  • The Elbrow Suite Refurbishment (£3500)
  • Radio Microphone (£200)
  • Short Mat Bowls and equipment (£300)
  • Building decoration (£1000)
  • Other projects (£1300)

Leaving £9000 in the Development Fund!

Entertainment Committee

The Entertainment committee was created by the Board of Trustees to manage and regularise the provision of entertainment to members, mainly in the Lounge Bar. At present the Committee is managed by Janice Lloyd, and she would be delighted for volunteers to help organise events.

At present it is self-funding through raffles to fund the entertainment, though we are looking at the committee becoming a formal Section.
